Catch-22 Book Cover

Catch-22 is a well-known book that follows a captain during World War II. The colors of the book cover represent the original and current adaptations of the story. The blue pays an homage to the original cover of the book, while the yellow represents the 2019 TV series adaptation. The split-color design represents the paradoxical nature of the book with the words forming a visual loop that mimics the loop the characters of the book are stuck in. The font of the title is meant to replicate the stencils that are often used in the military for labeling with the author’s name using a taller condensed font to balance out the rest of the design.
